Bespoke Cabinetry Unit

We were approached by Turet at KNUEFERMANN which is a boutique clothing outlet in Ponsonby. They were looking for custom-built cabinetry, it had to look elegant and expensive, while offering practical storage and a large work area for client meetings to choose and discuss fabrics etc. over a glass of champagne or wine.

They settled on the natural warmth offered by a Walnut veneer, then had it stained and sealed to darken up for an even richer feel. The work surface was then completed with some brown tinted glass.

It was a great challenge to achieve the look they wanted, the kind of details that went into it included a gross grained finish, with the grain matching continuously right around, along with a really nice, concealed handle detail.

The unit covered a floorspace of 1,8m x 1,8m and looked stunning when all was said and done.
